Washington's Minimum Wage Increase for 2022

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries recently announced an increase in the minimum wage for 2022. Beginning January 1, 2022, Washington’s minimum wage for workers 16 years of age and older will be $14.49 per hour. Workers who are 14 or 15 years old may be paid 85% of the adult minimum wage, or $12.32 per hour.
