Alex Marler

Accounting Services Manager

Alex Marler has more than 20 years of experience in tax, accounting services, and advice. Her experience includes tax preparation and financial reporting services for clients in the hospitality, construction, manufacturing, and professional services industries.

Virginia Davis

Tax Supervisor

Virginia has seven years of professional accounting experience in small business, construction, and real estate. She holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business administration and a graduate degree in Financial Analysis with a concentration in public accounting.

Tyler Claus

Senior Accountant

Tyler has experience working in the legal and real estate fields and recently became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has experience in tax in federal, state, local, corporate, partnership, trust, estate and gift, and individual compliance. Tyler has also worked with international tax compliance issues.

His education includes a bachelor’s degree in Politics from Whitman College, a JD and LLM in Taxation from The University of San Diego School of Law, and a Certificate of Accounting from The University of Washington.

Alexa Herrmann

Senior Accountant

Alexa has three years of professional accounting experience with The Doty Group and is a recent graduate of the University of Washington’s Master of Accounting Program. Primarily involved with audit and assurance engagements, Alexa has various professional accounting experiences, including tax, accounting, and auditing services. Alexa is interested in specializing in the not-for-profit industry as she has previously achieved an apprenticeship with Tacoma Symphony and the Grand Cinema, in addition to a minor in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington.

Daniel Beasley

Senior Accountant

Daniel’s experience includes individual and business tax preparation, auditing and attestation engagements, and bookkeeping services. His experience as a former small business owner presents credibility and allows for a situational understanding of a client’s perspective for an improved client experience.

Neely Harding

Senior Accountant

Neely holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University with a concentration in Accounting. She has a wide variety of experience, including working with The Kentucky-Indiana Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America, a non-profit organization, as well as Intermountain Wood Products, a wholesale distribution company. She is interested in expanding her knowledge in the construction industry and manufacturing. At The Doty Group, Neely is committed to recruiting new talent to the firm.
